CME GLOBEX RECAP: Row crop markets are lower early Friday, unable thus far
to follow through on Thursday's choppy session which ultimately saw most prices
recover for small gains by the close, albeit with low volume driving the trade.
Barring a Friday rally, all three major U.S. row crops will post weekly losses
in what has been a steady drift lower through the week as weather bears at this
point refuse to loosen their hold on the markets. In outside markets, there was
a layer of anxiety over equity markets as President Trump visited the Federal
Reserve's construction site which has become the source of contention between
Fed Chair Powell and the President, but investors should find some relief
Friday after Trump reasserted that he doesn't plan to attempt to remove Powell.
Otherwise, markets will surely begin to turn their heads towards an upcoming
meeting between the U.S. and China's top trade negotiators in Stockholm early
next week.

OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 316.38 at 44,693.91 and the S&P 500 Index up 4.44 at 6,363.35. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.41%. Early Friday, September Dow Jones
futures are up 52 points. European markets are mostly lower with the spot
futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.36%, spot futures of Germany's
DAX trading down 0.62% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.10%.
Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.88% and China's
Shanghai Composite Index down 0.33%.
